Kristin Clardy, Vice President of Business Development at Venta Financial Group/Alterra Mortgage has over 8 years recruiting experience and in that time has been very influential in helping companies recruit the best talent within the mortgage industry. Her commitment, drive, and integrity are second to none in a field where there is a tremendous cross section of people.

Kristin started her mortgage career in Quality Control auditing where she was fortunate to learn the industry from the inside out. She then moved to Executive Assistant within a large firm where she managed over 1000 loan originators, recruited new originators, nurtured relationships with 158 investors, helped write policy and procedures and much more. This was a great stepping stone to prepare Kristin for her business development career.

As a very active member in the mortgage industry, Kristin is serving as Vice President of Services and Resources for NAPMW this year and is also serving as Secretaryn of the Austin Mortgage Bankers Association.

In her free time Kristin is elated by the company of her two beautiful children Andrew, 11 and Kaylin, 9 and her two Labrador Retrievers (Austin and Titan). She loves all outdoor activities especially golf, running, biking, swimming and just lounging at the lake.
